How can I charge my phone without destroying the rainforest? How do I travel to university in an eco-friendly way? What does the avocado on my plate have to do with poverty in Mexico?
The seminar "The UN Sustainability Goals in Practice" offers you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to develop an in-depth understanding of a self-chosen SDG.
The seminar consists of two online events and participation in the self-learning offers of the "SDG-Campus" (https://sdg-campus.de/). The event begins with a kick-off event conducted by HCU Hamburg. Subsequently, you participate in a course of the SDG-Campus at your own pace. In addition, there are regular online office hours. In the final event, you will reflect on your insights and briefly present course results.
Currently, the following SDG-Campus offerings can be taken:
- General Introduction Course plus SDG-Campus Reflection
- SDG 1 – No Poverty (Bauhaus University Weimar)
- SDG 2 – Quality Education (TU Hamburg)
- SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy (TU Hamburg)
- SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities (Hafencity University)
For students who cannot attend the kick-off or final event (dates will be announced shortly), there is the opportunity to catch up on the content at their own pace in Moodle.
