Beschreibung:
Thinking Systems are an age-long dream of mankind. Since ages machines and devices had been conceptualised that would possess cognitive abilities such as sensing, reasoning, or decision making. In the 20th century the science of cybernetics has given the principles and theories for designing and building "things that think". In the intensive crash course format we will conceptualise smart devices that bring together the capacities of sensor technology, artificial intelligence, and language processing - and relate this to new developments in the context of smart buildings and smart cities, cyberphysical systems (CPS), and the internet of things (IoT).
