- Basics and relations: Geometric quality (Measurement accuracy, Uncertainty, Tolerances, and tolerance chains) and terms of the construction and engineering industry.
- Deformation measurements: Types of deformations;temporal and spatial discretisation; dynamic, kinematic and geometric deformation model; scheduling; measurement programme; monitoring networks; point marking; documentation
- Sensors and instruments applied for deformation monitoring: Measuring principles and geosensor networks
- Processing of monitoring data: Deformation analysis based on statistical tests, generalization (e.g. by strain analysis)
- Practical realisation of a monitoring project (planning, implementation, processing, and evaluation of a deformation measurement)
