Beschreibung:
This course pursues the goal to introduce fundamentals of Geographical Information Sciences (GI Sciences). It follows the typical processing chain from data acquisition, modelling (storage), analysis and visualization. The lecture introduces elementary processing of geometric, thematic and topological characteristics of geo data. A practical tutorial introduces into the work with the open source software QGIS.
