In this sense, the seminar will deal with the concept of space in urban planning and the possible concepts and perceptions of space.
Without space, nothing can be created, since there would be nothing in which cities can be planned. But what is "space"? How can it be interpreted, viewed and used?
And when it is planned, the question is for whom is it planned? Urban planning can create an urban living environment for many people, but at the same time it can exclude many people from it. It all depends on the view of the (urban) space and what needs are placed on the space.
In this seminar we look at the space and try to get a sensitisation for the diversity of the urban space as well as possible demands that are made on a city.
