Beschreibung:
The culture group of the German economy in the BDI e.V. has announced another competition. In the broadest sense, it is about the office and work environments of the future.
Together with architecture students from the TU Dortmund (Chair Prof. Heike Hanada), the University of Hanover (Chair Prof. Michael Schumacher), the University of Kassel (Prof. Claus Anderhalten), the Cologne University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Dr. Nadine Zinser-Junghans) and the Münster University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Kirsten Schemel) is called upon to develop ideas for tomorrow's work based on a specific construction task - the design of an office building in Essen.
In view of the current trend towards home office, the persistent difficulty of reconciling work and family and the increasingly pressing questions about the sustainable use of resources of all kinds, it appears to be an attractive and contemporary design task.
But this semester also deals with classic architectural topics, such as repairing the city or questioning everyday architectural tasks and approaches. In particular, we want to deal extensively and intensively with the subject of “How do I win an architecture competition?”.
