Beschreibung: Project II deals with Sustainable Urbanism in Hamburg. The main aim is to learn about the principles and indicators of sustainable urbanism through a guided analysis of urban neighborhoods in Hamburg and to develop innovative resource efficient interventions which enhance the sustainability of the neighborhood. We will ask and answer questions such as: - How do you define a liveable neighbourhood? What is a sustainable neighbourhood? - What are the principles and design strategies of resource efficient planning at various scales? - How do you technically, aesthetically and educationally integrate resource efficient technologies into the neighbourhood? - What instruments and policies will help to create liveable neighbourhoods? - How does one need to consider the challenge of climate change and adaption? Furthermore it is planned to involve external guest speakers.
