Content of the seminar: New Mobility Concept Neustadt Hamburg

A traffic concept for Neustadt Hamburg that deals with the expected changes in mobility in the near future. (against the background of the decision year 2030, the year of the climate change!).
The new questions that could arise from a traffic turnaround should be presented and suggestions for specific solutions should be developed. Particular attention should be paid to the changes in mobility (autonomous cars, 5 min cycle, MOIA, eMIV, eBikes, increase in bicycle traffic, scooters, etc.) with the respective new conditions (parking / charging / reserving) and the newly resulting dependent changes, eg in the area of ??parking traffic or intelligent LSAs. But the public street space should also be optimized.
The future mobility concept of the Neustadt should be discussed with the residents (district events Neustadt) and then adapted and possibly installed in prototype applications. (An official approval must be obtained for this, keyword participation and, if necessary, co-creation. A possible evaluation of alternative proposals as well as the integration into the solution proposals from the public are to be sought.
The applied representation of the changes is developed in an adequate (visionary?) Form with AR in such a way that it can be presented to the public on site (in the form of a VISIT). The methods of AR.JS / GEO.JS are used here, a framework for creating websites (with Javascript extension), in which it is possible to install certain ideas on site (visible online) without having to access special third-party software. (and with a manageable amount of coding). E.G. https://ar-js-org.github.io/AR.js-Docs/
((in German: You can install ideas at certain GEO coordinates and then make them visible in the web browser, e.g. on a smartphone, without having to install extra software / apps ...).

Inspections and integration in public space (posters, QR codes, etc.) can play a decisive role in the publication (sic).

The scope of programming will be kept within manageable limits, it is mainly about the CONTENT and the publication thereof.

About me: Daniel Jenett, designer, lecturer and bicycle activist.
Projects:
The topic is a further development of the AR methods in the area of ??urban development that have already been used in the previous seminars. E.g. topic Grasbrook bicycle bridge: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/grasbrook-bicycle-bridge-daniel-jenett/
District activities in Neustadt Hamburg, including the closure of Ludwig Erhard
Street (September 2019) and use of the demonstration as a secure vote
about a new form of mobility. This project was also the result of Q-Studies
on the topic of participation (2019). http://www.neustadt.io/
StartUp development of a parking space for vehicles of the new mobility (pedelecs,
Bicycles, scooters). As a successor to the well-known bicycle shed in Hamburg, a
Modern form developed that allows to reserve parking spaces and also at different
Use locations. Operation with the smartphone as an interface is essential.
The project has won several prizes and awards, is waiting for a green one at the moment
Light to be used in multiple places. http://velovend.net/
Further projects can be found at http://www.jenett.com/, especially the projects with the
ADFC are highlighted here: Visit in Copenhagen at Copenhagenize for the benefits
to see and be shown firsthand of the traffic planning there.

For the Hamburg Urban Development Society (STEG), I was crucial in the
Communication of the mobility station in the new Pergolenviertel in Hamburg involved:
MOBILPORT.
The above projects are just a few of those in Hamburg with the topic of mobility and
Urban development have to do. I also have a managerial position as a designer for 25 years
for, among others, METRO LA, Disney, Audi and many other well-known companies in
Germany and the USA worked. For the past 10 years I have worked at various
Universities teaches, especially design in the field of New Mobility. My own
Graduated from Art Center Pasadena (USA) with a BFA in Communications.
