Stairs, seating furniture, width of pedestrian sideways, window size, ceiling height…the criterion of things is the human body! He determines with his proportions and dimensions the appearance of the whole surrounding structured by us, especially in the urban area.
In this class we concentrate us simplifying on the more static image of the portrait and the (undressed) body. The understanding (“learning how to see”) of forms and their overlappings in the three-dimensional view and their transformation in a two-dimensional, nevertheless the context displaying drawing set up the focus of the class. The actual target, however, is to foster the sensibility for ourselves in order to generate a sustainable base for the design of our living space.
