Design Task: SANKT.PAULI.LIVING
a multistorey and multifunctional building for
Hamburg St. Pauli
The conceptual Task is a formal and functional design
answer for the urban Situation and the actual and future
requirements of urban living and working. Part of it is the
research and assessment of similar project examples.
1st intermediate presentation of Concept
Urban space and place, concept idea, design, form, function
The pre-design task is the development and the comparative
assessment of several alternatives or variants.
2nd intermediate presentation Pre-Design
with at least two different pre-design solutions
in 2D- and 3D-presentation
The Design task is a well assessed selection and carefull
development of one out of the alternative pre-design solutions,
respecting the hints and discussions from the seminar.
3rd intermediate presentation DESIGN with
design process, design decisions and open questions as
"work-in-progress" with a to-do-list for the final presentation
of DESIGN Project III
Final Presentation Architectural DESIGN Project III
with basic ideas for structure, construction and building technology
from the design phase for the next step into the further design of
working drawings and detailling.
