Beschreibung:
"Technologies for Urban Material Cycles" is a compulsory elective from the "Resources, Technologies and Environment" pillar of the REAP programme. We give an introduction into Circular Economy principles and then look at selected material groups (like metals, concrete, plastics): at their worldwide demand prospects and planetary reserves, associated geopolitical aspects and strategies, their life cycles, their (reduction, reuse and) recycling potential, to explore the potential for their more sustainable management.
